Author Guidelines for Anhui Medical Journal

1. Registration

Click Submission & Login at the top left of the homepage. New users need to register and fill in personal information. Please ensure that the email address you provide is frequently used and valid (a QQ email is recommended), and that the “Name” field is identical to the first author’s name.

2. Manuscript Submission

Log in as an author on the journal’s homepage using your registered email address and password to enter the submission page. Complete all required submission information as prompted and submit your manuscript. Please do not upload compressed files, and remove all author information from your Word document.

3. Manuscript Status Inquiry

After logging into the system, you may check the current status of your manuscript via the “Manuscript Inquiry” module.

4. Manuscript Revision

Download your manuscript and revision comments from the “Manuscripts Pending Revision” section. Revise your manuscript point by point in accordance with the reviewers’ comments and highlight all revisions in a distinct colour. To submit your revised manuscript, click Upload Revised Manuscript. Please upload any relevant attachments (e.g., a response letter to reviewers) along with the revised file if applicable.

Note: Do NOT use the “New Submission” function to resubmit this revised manuscript. Otherwise, it will be treated as a new submission, and all existing peer review results will be invalidated.

5. Author Information

Please complete the author information section carefully during manuscript submission. The authors’ names, affiliations and order of authorship shall not be altered arbitrarily. To ensure effective communication, please provide an alternative mobile phone number.

6. Peer Review Process

For details, please refer to the “Submission & Editorial Process” page on the journal’s homepage.

7. Frequently Asked Questions

The journal publishes approximately 400 articles annually. The normal publication cycle is approximately 10 months from the date of peer review fee payment. Manuscripts supported by provincial-level or higher research funds will be prioritised for publication. Expedited publication is not available for other submissions.
