Manuscript Processing Workflow of Anhui Medical Journal

1 Online Submission

Authors shall register on the journal’’s official submission website (www.ahyxzz.cn) and upload their manuscripts. Upon successful submission, authors will receive an acknowledgment slip with a unique manuscript ID. Authors are required tomust submit relevant materials as specified in the acknowledgment.

2 Similarity Check

All submitted manuscripts will undergo plagiarism be screened for similarity using the detection via Wanfang Similarity Detection System. Manuscripts with a similarity rate exceeding 20% will be rejected directly.

3 Initial Editorial Screening

The editorial teamEditors conducts preliminary screening of manuscripts in accordance withbased on the journal’’s scope and editorial orientation and scope of acceptancepolicies. Manuscripts failing to meet the basic requirements will be rejected.

4 Peer Review

Manuscripts passing initial screening will be sent to peer reviewers for evaluation, with a review periodcycle of 1 to 2 months. The editorial office will make corresponding dispositionsdecisions based on peer the reviewers’’ comments:

4.1 Rejection: The manuscript will be rejected directly.

4.2 Revision and Resubmission for Re-review: Authors shouldshall revise the manuscript in line withaccording to the reviewers’ comments, and the revised version will be sent back to the peer reviewer for another round of evaluationpeer review.

4.3 Revision for Final Editorial Board Review: Authors revise the manuscript according tobased on the review  comments, after which the revised version undergoes followed by final review by the editorial board. Manuscripts approved in the final review will proceed to copyeditingeditorial processing.

5 CopyeditingEditorial Processing

Once manuscripts meet the journal’s publication standards  of Anhui Medical Journal after copyeditingeditorial polishing, the managing  responsible editor will arrange reviews by statisticsal and English language specialists. Manuscripts tentatively accepted after expert reviews will be subjected toundergo a second plagiarismsimilarity check usingvia CNKI. Those with a similarity rate lower than 15% will proceed to typesetting.

6 Page Charge Payment

Authors shall pay the page charge usingfee via the bank card undeofr the first author’’s name and completeregister invoice information registration in the online submission system.

7 Typesetting and Printing

The editorial office conducts three rounds of proofreading for typeset manuscripts. Authors are required to conductperform a final verification check of the manuscript content. After confirmation, the manuscripts will be deliveredare sent to the printing houseer for a production of sample copiesjournal production. The responsiblemanaging editor reviewchecks the sample copies, and formal printing proceeds upon approvalwill commence once no errors are found.

8 Complimentary Journal Delivery

After printed journals are delivered to the editorial office fromby the printerting house, two complimentary journal issuecopies will be mailed to the corresponding author.
