Scope of Submissions for Anhui Medical Journal
1. The journal currently accepts unsolicited manuscripts, but does not accept submissions in the fields of health management or clinical meta-analysis/reviews.
2. Basic Medicine: Studies in which the research subjects are animals, their tissues, or cells, typically using disease modeling to explore the nature and mechanisms of diseases.
3. Clinical Medicine: Studies on the etiology, manifestations, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of diseases, aimed at improving therapeutic outcomes and promoting human health.
4. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Research: Primarily covers theoretical and practical research in TCM, as well as studies on Chinese materia medica.
5. Pharmaceutical Research: Fundamental research on drugs, which may involve pharmacology, toxicology, pharmaceutical analysis, medicinal chemistry, and related basic and experimental studies.
6. Laboratory Tests and Medical Imaging: New techniques, new methods, quality control, and clinical application research in medical laboratory testing and medical imaging.
7. Nursing: Covers a broad range, including basic hygiene care, disease-centered care, patient-centered holistic care, and human health-centered care.
8. Review Articles: Papers in which the author systematically summarizes, organizes, analyzes, and synthesizes the data, findings, and key viewpoints from a large body of original research on a specific topic over a defined period.
9. Medical Education: Content related to the purposeful, planned, and organized educational activities for cultivating healthcare professionals.
10. Health Services Research: Studies in which the research subjects are primarily non-hospitalized patients, covering public health, epidemiology, survey research, and related areas.
11. Case Reports: Medical reports that document and describe one or two typical cases, covering clinical manifestations, pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, and related aspects of the disease.
12. Nursing Notes: Primarily consists of successful experiences from frontline nursing staff regarding special case care, application of new techniques, improvements in nursing methods, and innovations in nursing practice (Effective from June 2025, Nursing Notes manuscripts may be submitted directly through the journal’s website).
