Call for Submissions: Nursing Notes-- Voices from the Frontline of Care
Co-hosted by the Anhui Medical Journal and the Anhui Nursing Association
Clinical nursing is the cornerstone of patient recovery and well-being. As the saying goes, “Treatment accounts for 30 percent, while nursing care accounts for 70 percent.” We believe that frontline nurses possess a wealth of invaluable experience-- from applying new technologies to innovating daily care routines. To honor and disseminate this vital practical wisdom, we launch “Nursing Notes”, a special column dedicated to sharing effective and successful nursing experiences from across Anhui province and beyond.
I. Article Genre
Submissions shall be reflective narratives, instead of traditional research articles. Authors may share successful experience in nursing special cases, application of new technologies, optimization of routine nursing and innovative nursing approaches that are worthy of reference for peers. Consistent with the style of Florence Nightingale’s Notes on Nursing, articles shall serve as practical references for clinical nurses and provide guidance for patients and their families.
II. Reference Outline (Published samples attached hereafter)
Briefly introduce the patient case, describe new nursing modes, methods, technologies or optimized nursing procedures, record special incidents encountered during application, report clinical effects, and elaborate replicable practices.
III. Specific Requirements
1. Authenticity & Scientificity: All cases, nursing methods and technologies described must be authentic and scientifically sound.
2. Copyright Legitimacy: Authors shall hold full legal copyright of submitted works. For co-authored pieces, consent from all authors is required). Submission confirms that the manuscript does not infringe on any third-party rights, including copyright, portrait rights, reputation rights and privacy rights. The submitting author shall bear all corresponding legal liabilities for any infringement.
3. Format & Word Count: Self-designed titles should match the theme; submissions shall be Word documents within 3,000 words, concise and well-structured.

IV. Submission Method
Submit manuscripts via the journal’s official website, and please add the prefix “Submission for Nursing Notes” to the article title.
V. Publication Arrangement
Accepted manuscripts will be published in Anhui Medical Journal and disseminated via the our official website, WeChat channel, and other digital partner platforms. No submission fees or article processing charges (APCs) will be collected for this column.
VI. Copyright Authorization
Anhui Medical Journal is a digitally indexed journal. The journal and its cooperative platforms (CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, etc.) disseminate journal articles across various media (digital, print, etc.). All submitters are deemed to grant the journal non-exclusive licenses to reproduce, distribute, compile, transmit via information networks and sublicense the manuscript content to third parties. Submission indicates full acceptance of all provisions stated in this notice.
The final interpretation of this call for submissions rests with the organizing parties.
