Objective To investigate the influencing factors of the treatment of bone metastases of malignant tumors with strontium chloride (89SrCl2).Methods Ninety-nine patients of bone metastases were collected from Nanchong Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College from Feb 2013 to Sept 2016, and grouped according to their treatment result. Whether the age, sex, pathological type of tumor, the treatment times of 89SrCl2, operation, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, number of bone metastases, analgesics and the level of alkaline phosphatase (ALP) had influence on the treatment result of 89SrCl2 was analyzed. Results The total efficiency of 89SrCl2 treatment was 63.6%. The univariate analysis showed that different tumor pathological types, different times of treatment, whether combined with radiotherapy, surgical resection or not, the number of different tumor bone metastases, and whether combined with analgesics were statistically significant (P< 0.05). These factors were brought into multivariate Logistics regression analysis to show that the pathological type of the tumor, the times of 89SrCl2 treatment, operation, the number of tumor bone metastases, and whether combined with analgesic are the independent factors affecting the efficacy of 89SrCl2.Conclusion The pathological type of tumor, the times of patients treated with 89SrCl2, operation, the number of tumor bone metastases and whether combined with analgesic affect the efficacy of 89SrCl2. |
