Objective To explore the status of nurse' knowledge,attitudes and behaviors towards Alzheimer's disease in community health centers in Zhuhai, and analyze the factors. Methods During September 2019 to January 2020, the questionnaire was used to investigate in 20 community health centers in Zhuhai, including general basic information and knowledge, attitude and behaviors in treating Alzheimer's disease.Results A total of 283 questionnaires were collected. Knowledge, attitude and behavior scores were (19.87±3.11), (4.79±1.88), (3.90±2.62), respectively, and the total score was (28.57±5.09).No one got full marks. Univariate analysis showed that community nurses with different educational backgrounds and professional titles had different knowledge and attitude scores, the nurses with different Alzheimer's disease training history, patient contact history, care history, job titles had different attitudes, behaviors and total scores. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the nurses with different training history and patient contact history towards Alzheimer's disease had different total scores, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusions Nurses in community health centers in Zhuhai have insufficient knowledge and application ability of Alzheimer's disease. Different educational backgrounds and professional titles can affect community nurses' knowledge level; different training history and patient contact history towards Alzheimer's disease can affect the overall level of community nurses' knowledge, attitudes and behaviors. |
