Objective To explore the effect of multidisciplinarycollaborative (MDT) nursing model in enteral nutrition for tumor patients. Methods Sixty-six tumor patients requiring enteral nutrition treatment in the Tumor Interventional Department of Wuhu Second People's Hospital from June 2017 to July 2021 were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into observation group and control group, with 33 cases in each group. The patients in control group only received routine nursing, and the patients in observation group accepted MDT nursing model on the basis of the control group. The incidence of nasal feeding complications, satisfaction of patients and their families, serum albumin, hemoglobin and the ability of nurses were compared between the two groups. Results The total incidence of complications in observation group was 6.06%, which was lower than that in control group. The satisfaction of patients before discharge was 96.97%, and the satisfaction of family members was 93.94%, which was significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.05). The skills of nurses in observation group were significantly improved, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in serum albumin and hemoglobin between the two groups at admission (P>0.05). Before discharge, the indexes of serum albumin and hemoglobin in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.05).The difference in serum albumin and hemoglobin levels between the two groups at admission and before discharge was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusions MDT nursing model effectively improves the nutritional status of patients, reduces the occurrence of complications, improves the quality of life and satisfaction of patients, and is also helpful to improve the professional skills of nurses. |
