Objective To study the social ability and emotional state of children with Kawasaki disease and analyze the influencing factors. Methods A total of 136 children with Kawasaki disease treated in the Anhui Children's Hospital between January 2018 and March 2021 were selected as the research subjects (observation group). 136 healthy children of the same age who completed health check-ups in the hospital during the same period were selected as the control group. The Child Behavior Check list(CBCL) was used to assess the social ability, and the Positive Affect and Negative Affect Scale for Children (PANAS-C) was used to assess the emotional state. The children's general information were collected, and Logistic regression analysis was performed to analyze the influencing factors of social ability and emotional state of children with Kawasaki disease. Results The scores of social ability and positive emotion in the observation group were (7.89±1.43)and(43.23±6.97),which were lower than those of the control group(10.65±1.74)、(55.52±8.11),the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05),and the scores of negative emotion in the observation group were(32.11±3.85),and the scores of the control group were(26.78±4.29),the difference betweeen the two groups were statistically significant (P<0.05).Univariate analysis showed that gender, age, grade level, family residence, education level of primary caregivers, family structure, family relationships and family economic status were related to children's social ability(P<0.05). Age, grade level, education level of primary caregivers, family structure, family relationships and family economic status were related to children's emotional state (P<0.05). Multiple linear stepwise regression analysis showed that gender, age, family residence, education level of primary caregivers, family structure and family relationships were the influencing factors of social ability of children with Kawasaki disease (P<0.05). Age, education level of primary caregivers, family structure and family relationships were the influencing factors of emotional state of children with Kawasaki disease (P<0.05). Conclusions Children with Kawasaki disease have weak social ability and are prone to have negative emotions. Measures can be developed according to the influencing factors of social ability and mental state to improve children's quality of life. |
