Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of the combined treatment of Shexiang Baoxin Pills and Baduanjin on coronary heart disease patients in phase Ⅱ rehabilitation after interventional surgery. Methods From October 2022 to September 2023, 72 patients who attended the Cardiac Rehabilitation Center of Bozhou People’s Hospital for phase Ⅱ rehabilitation after percutaneous coronary interven-tion (PCI), were divided into 36 cases in the control group and 36 cases in the combined group according to the numbering of the order of consultation by using the envelope method to mask the patients’ information. The control group was treated with conventional rehabilitation therapy in Western medicine, and the combined group was treated with a 12-week rehabilitation therapy combining Shexiang Baoxin Pills and Baduanjin on the basis of the control group. The 6-minute walk test (6MWT), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), left ventricular end dia-stolic dimension (LVEDD), Seattle Angina Questionnaire (SAQ), Generalized Anxiety Questionnaire (GAD-7), and Patient Health Question-naire (PHQ-9) scores were used as an assessment of treatment effectiveness. Results The control group (n=30) and the combined group (n=33) completed this study, and no adverse events occurred during the rehabilitation period. There was no statistical significance in the comparison of the pre-intervention indicators between the two groups (P>0.05). Compared with the control group, after 12 weeks of rehabilitation, pa-tients in the combined group showed an increase (P<0.05) in LVEF, 6MWD, but a decrease in LVEDD, GAD-7, and PHQ-9 (P<0.05), and the SAQ scores were higher than the control group (P<0.05). The differences in the efficacy indexes of LVEF, LVEDD, 6MWD, SAQ, GAD-7 and PHQ-9 before and after the intervention between the two groups were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The combined treatment of Shexiang Baoxin Pills and Baduanjin can improve the cardiac function of interventional rehabilitation patients, enhance their exercise endur-ance, reduce their anxiety, depression and other psychological symptoms, and improve their quality of life. |
