Objective To analyze the surveillance data of maternal near miss to provide reference for early identification and intervention of this population. Methods The information of pregnant women in 18 hospitals in Anhui province from 2019 to 2022 was collected by the China’s maternal near miss surveillance system, and the occurrence and characteristics of maternal near miss were analyzed. The influencing factors of the occurrence of maternal near miss were analyzed by univariate analysis and generalized linear regression model. Results From 2019 to 2022, there were 253,495 pregnant women in 18 hospitals in Anhui Province, including 1 880 maternal near miss, and the detection rate of maternal near miss was 7.42‰. The disease spectrum of maternal near miss had the highest detection rate of coagulation dysfunction, accounting for 80.96%. Univariate analysis showed that the detection rate of maternal near miss was higher in the elderly (age ≥35 years), marital status was single, the number of prenatal examinations was < 5 times, menstruated women, previous history of cesarean section with statistical significance (P < 0.05). Generalized linear regression model analysis found that old age (RR=1.852, 95%CI:1.639 ~ 2.092), previous history of cesarean section (RR=1.445,95%CI:1.275 ~ 1.637), and the number of prenatal examinations < 5 times (RR=2.91,95%CI:2.604 ~ 3.252) had a greater impact on the detection rate of maternal near miss. Conclusion In Anhui province, the detection rate of maternal near miss is high, and the disease spectrum is mainly cocoagulation dysfunction. It is necessary to strengthen the prevention and treatment of anemia and hemorrhagic diseases, standardize prenatal examination, and pay attention to high-risk pregnant women such as old age and previous history of cesarean section. |
