Objective To analyze the status quo and influencing factors of patient aictivation with cervical cancer by structural equation model, and to provide theoretical basis for reducing the patient activation with cervical cancer. Methods From January to December 2020, 234 cases of cervical cancer patients from two tertiary grade A hospitals in Guangxi were selected by convenience sampling method. Demographic diseases, stigma, anxiety and depression data of patients were collected by General Data Questionnaire, Social Impact Scale and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale, and Patients' Positivity Scale was used to evaluate patients' positivity. Structural equation model was used to analyze the influencing factors of patients' positivity. Results The positivity score of cervical cancer patients was (49.53±16.01) points, which was at the second activation level. The influencing factor model of cervical cancer patients' positivity based on structural equation model showed that:stigma (β=-0.186), anxiety and depression (β=-0.275), age (β=-0.104), place of residence (β=-0.130), education (β=0.187), chronic disease (β=-0.103) and clinical stage (β=-0.205) had direct effects on the positive degree of patients, respectively. Among them, anxiety and depression (β=-0.078), clinical stage (β=-0.125), chronic disease (β=-0.079), medical insurance type (β=0.083), monthly family income (β=0.101) had indirect effects on the positive degree of patients, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions The patient activation level of cervical cancer patients is low. Targeted intervention should be given to patients with high stigma level, high anxiety and depression level, old age, low cultural background level, low economic level, high clinical stage and chronic diseases to improve the level of patient activation. |
