Objective To access the main points of nursing care for the perioperative period of the microsurgery through hemilaminectomy approach for intra-spinal canal tumors.Methods The clinical data of 34 patients present in the Department of Neurosurgery in the hospital from 2013 to 2016 were reviewed and analysed,and all the patients experienced the microsurgical procedures through hemilaminectomy approach for intra-spinal canal tumors.The preoperative evaluations,the targeted health guidances,psychological nursing measures,the postoperative observations,the dirigations and the preventions and nursings for the complications were summarized and analysed.Results Among the 34 patients in this group,32 patients received total removals of intra-spinal tumors as well as two patients did subtotally.After the surgery,three patients experienced worse limb dysfunction compared with what before surgical procedures.The patients' conditions were improved under the active treatments and step-by-step dirigations.Two patients suffered from the incision cerebrospinal leakage and recovered after active treatments and nursings.All patients were discharged from the hospital upon good recoveries,none of whom had the nursing complications,and the desired fine effect was achieved instead.Conclusion For patients experiencing the hemilaminectomy approach surgical procedures for intra-spinal canal tumors,the basis for the operation management is to develop a good mental state before the surgery and conduct the effective dirigations.Serious postoperative observations and nursing cares can make strong guarantee for few postoperative complications and good recoveries of the patients. |
