Objective To evaluate the effects of dexmedetomidine or dezocine alone or combination of the two agents on the emergence period of general anesthesia in patients undergoing laparoscopic radical gastrectomy. Methods 80 patients admitted to our hospital from Mar 2015 to Mar 2016 undergoing laparoscopic radical gastrectomy were divided into 4 groups (n=20 each),control group (group C),dexmedetomidine group (group DEX),dezocine group (group DEZ) and dexmedetomidine+dezocine group (group DD). In groups DEX and DD,dexmedetomidine was injected intravenously at 15 min before induction of anesthesia,In groups DEZ and DD,Dezocine was injected intravenously after beginning of abdomen closure.C group was given normal saline intravenously. The mean arterial pressure (MAP) and heart rate (HR) of the four groups of patients at the time of entering PACU (T0),extubation for sputum suction (T1),5 min after extubation (T2) and 10 min after extubation (T3) were recorded; the VAS score and the Ramsay sedation score of the patients in the PACU at the time of 10 min after extubation (T3),30 min after extubation (T4) and 60 min after extubation (T5) were recorded. Results compared with group C,at time T0~T3,MAP was reduced in group DEX、DEZ and DD,HR was slowed in group DEX and DD (P<0.05),at time T3~T5,the VAS score was reduced, and the Ramsay sedation score was increased in group DEX、DEZ and DD. compared with group C,the incidence of agitation and shiver were distinctively reduced in the other groups(P<0.05). group DD compared with the other groups, the incidence of agitation and shiver were distinctively reduced (P<0.05).Conclusion Dexmedetomidine or dezocine alone or combination of the two agents can maintain hemodynamic stability of patients undergoing laparoscopic radical gastrectomy in emergence period of general anesthesia, and decreases the incidence of agitation and shiver after extubation. Furthermore, the combination of the two agents provides better efficacy than either alone. |
