Objective Objective of the study was to investigate prospective memory (PM) and retrospective memory (RM) impairment in Pregnant Women,and study the influence of pregnancy on memory. Methods Fifty of pregnant women and 50 nonpregnant women were enrolled in this study from 2015 Oct. to 2015 Dec. in Anhui provincial hospital obstetrics, who were matched in age and education assessed with general cognition evaluation and questionnaires of RM and PM.Results Compared with nonpregnant women, group of pregnant women had higher PM score (16.84±4.89 vs 13.34±3.49,P<0.05). RM score in group of pregnant women was lower than that of nonpregnant women, but with no significance(15.70±5.04 vs 14.82±3.81,P>0.05). Conclusion Pregnant women could undergo cognitive impairment, especially in memory function, mainly in PM. |
