Objective To investigate the value of prenatal ultrasound of fetal pulmonary sequestrations(PS). Methods The clinical data of 15 cases of pulmonary sequestrations(PS) diagnosed with prenatal ultrasound were retrospectively reviewed, and its ultrasonographic characteristics and clinical prognosis were summarized. Results Fifteen cases of fetal PS by prenatal ultrasonic diagnosis were unilateral. The typical sonographic features were strong echo mass, the internal echo uniform, clear boundary, triangular or wedge shape, in which the blood supply of the lumps was all from the aorta. In 15 cases with multiple malformation in one case, pleural effusion in 2 cases, and pulmonary cystadenoma in 3 cases. Conclusion Prenatal ultrasound examination in time to diagnose fetal PS has important clinical significance. |
