Objective To analyze the vaginal micro-ecology status of female infertility patients, and to provide basis for their clinical treatment. Methods From Aug 2014 to Oct 2015, two hundred niave female outpatients with infertility and sterility ever treated in our hospital were selected as the study group, and other 210 healthy fertile women were chosen as the control group.A comprehensive assessment of their vaginal micro-ecology status was carried out by the vaginal micro-ecology evaluation system. Results The imbalance rate of vaginal micro-ecosystem in the study group (71.00%) was much higher than that in the control group (34.76%), and the difference between them was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The vaginal micro-ecosystem imbalance might be an important influencing factor of female infertility and sterility. Therefore, it is of great significance to correct the micro-ecosystem imbalance for the diagnosis and treatment of female infertility and sterility.
