Objective To analyze and compare serum and urine parameters in children of Henoch-Schnolein purpura (HSP) with or without renal involvement, thus facilitating clinical diagnosis and treatment of purpura related renal injury. Methods Serum IgM, IgG and IgA, as well as urine NAG, IgG, TFR, MA, RBP and β2-MG from the two groups of HSP children were collected and analyzed in order to find out the changes of these indices during the progression of the disease. Results Compared with the purpura nephritis children, positive incidences of serum IgG(28.95%) and IgA(80.26%)were significantly higher in the HSP children without renal injury (P<0.05);urine NAG, IgG, TRF and MA levels in the purpura nephritis children were significantly higher than those in the HSP children without renal injury (P<0.05).Conclusion Increase of serum IgA and IgG is valuable signal for the risk of anaphylactoid purpura. Changes of urine NAG, IgG, TRF and MA levels are more specific in predicting early renal injury and purpura nephritis. |
