Objective To observe the clinical effect of drug combination of ginkgo leaf tablets and aspirin enteric-coated tablets and atorvastatin calcium tablets on those patients in recovery period of cerebral infarction. Methods 80 cases of patients in recovery period of cerebral infarction ever treated in our hospital from Jan 2015 to Dec 2016 were selected as the research objectives. Then they were divided into the control group and the study group by means of random number table, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received medications of aspirin enteric-coated tablets and atorvastatin calcium tablets, while the study group was treated with additional ginkgo leaf tablets on the basis of medications in the control group. The blood levels of lipids and homocysteine, carotid intima-media thickness (IMT) before and after treatment, together with total effective rate between the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, there was no significant difference in the levels of total cholesterol, triglycerides and low-density lipoprotein between the two groups (P>0.05), but the level of high-density lipoprotein in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). And at 6 months after treatment, the blood homocysteine level and carotid IMT in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).The total effective rate in the study group was 90.00%, which was much higher than that in the control group (72.50%), with statistically significant difference between them (χ2=4.021, P=0.045).Conclusion For those patients in recovery period of cerebral infarction, combined use of ginkgo leaf tablets and aspirin enteric-coated tablets and atorvastatin calcium tablets could increase the high-density lipoprotein level and decrease the homocysteine level, and reduce the carotid IMT to slow down development of atheromatous plaque, so it is worthy of promotion and application. |
