Objective To observe the clinical effectiveness of ultrapulse CO2 laser combined with photodynamic therapy in the treatment of recurrent condyloma acuminatum in female vulva. Methods A total of 120 patients were randomly divided into treatment group (n=60) and control group(n=60)by random number table method. The treatment group received CO2 laser combined with photodynamic therapy, while the control group was treated with CO2 laser alone.Followed up for six months after treatment of three times, then the cure rate, recurrence rate and adverse reactions were evaluated. Results The total effective rate of treatment group was 85%, which was higher than that of control group, the edema in treatment group was 41.67%, which was also higher than that in control group, and there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05). The recurrence rate of treatment group was 15%, which was lower than that of control group, and there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05). Conclusion Ultrapulse CO2 laser combined with photodynamic therapy in the treatment of female vulvar recurrent condyloma acuminatum has a high cure rate and a low recurrence rate, with no serious adverse reactionsand good patient tolerance, thus it is worth clinical application. |
