Objective To understand the satisfaction and the influencing factors of the service utilization of the elderly in the integrated medical and nursing institutions in Hefei. Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted in November 2018 to survey the elderly living in five integrated medical and nursing institutions in Hefei, to understand the medical satisfaction of the integrated medical and nursing institutions, cost satisfaction, living satisfaction, diet satisfaction and life atmosphere satisfaction, in which a total of 209 questionnaires were collected. Results The elderly residents had a low level of understanding of the policy (58.85% of those who did not know), and 81.34% expressed satisfaction with the living conditions; in terms of satisfaction with the content of medical services, 78.47% were satisfied; in terms of cost satisfaction, satisfied persons 61.72%; in terms of satisfaction with dietary conditions, 68.80% were satisfied; in terms of satisfaction with living atmosphere, 27.75% of the elderly considered average. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences in service utilization among the elderly residents of different genders, marital status, education, occupation, monthly income, and physical status (P<0.05). Conclusion The service utilization satisfaction of the elderly in the integrated medical and nursing institutions in Hefei is relatively high. Six factors, including gender and marital status, affect the service utilization satisfaction of the elderly. |
