Objective To analyze and evaluate the effect of clinical pathway management of rhinorrhagia. Methods A retrospective cohort study was designed to select 214 patients with rhinorrhagia as the objects, who were in the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University from February 2018 to July 2019.A total of 116 cases were given routine treatment as the control group,and98 cases were given clinical pathway management as the observation group. The differences in hospitalization time, hospitalization cost, total effective rate and incidence of complications between the two groups were analyzed. Results The total hospitalization cost, drug cost, consumables cost and hospitalization time in observation group were less than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=-2.111, -2.172, -2.014, -3.793, P=0.036,0.031,0.045,<0.001).The total effective rate of observation group (98.98%) was higher than that of control group (93.10%), and the differences were statistically significant(χ2=4.553,P=0.033).The difference in the complication rate between the two groups was notstatistically significant (χ2=0.550,P=0.458). Conclusion The clinical pathway management of rhinorrhagia is worth promoting because it can shorten the average hospitalization days, reduce the medical cost and improve the curative effect. |
