Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of serum brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) inpost-stroke depression (PSD).Methods A total of 120 stroke patients who were treated at the First People's Hospital of Taicang City, Jiangsu Province from January to June 2020 were collected. Among them, 60 patients with PSD were enrolled in the PSD group, and 60 patients without depression were enrolled in the control group. The differences in BDNF between the two groups were compared, and the diagnostic value was evaluated by quoting the receiver operating curve. Results The level of serum BDNF in PSD group was (11.33±3.93) ng/mL, lower than that in the control group(P<0.05), and the HAMD score was (29.38±5.05), higher than that in the control group (P<0.05).The area under receiver operating curve, sensitivity and specificity of BDNF for early diagnosis of PSD was 0.950%, 91.67% and 90.00%, respectively. Conclusion Serum BDNF hasa good early diagnostic efficacy for PSD. |
