Objective To analyze the infection status and distribution characteristics between subtypes and age of women in cervical high-risk human papillomavirus (HR-HPV) infection in Hefei, in order to provided the data reference for HPV vaccination and early prevention and treatment of cervical cancer. Methods From March 2021 to February 2023, a total of 11 058 female who voluntarily underwent highrisk HPV (HR-HPV) genotyping test were collected in Anhui No. 2 Provincial People’s Hospital. The subjects were divided into five age groups (16~25 years old group, 26~35 years old group, 36~45 years old group, 46~55 years old group, 56~88 years old group). Multiplex fluorescence PCR was used to detect 15 HR-HPV genotypes in cervical samples. Results Among the 11 058 tested subjects, 2 321were positive of HR-HPV. The infection rate of HR-HPV was 20.99%. 16~25 years old group had the highest infection rate of HR-HPV among different age groups (31.31%, P<0.05). The infection rate of HR-HPV decreased with the increase of the number of infected subtypes, with the highest single infection rate, followed by double infection. The multiple infection rate of 16~25 years old group was higher than that of the other four groups. The dominant subtypes of HR-HPV infection in each age group were 52, 53, 16 and 58, with the subtype 52 having the highest positive rate (5.68%, 628/11 058). Conclusion There is age differences in the distribution of HR-HPV infection among women in Hefei. Young women have the highest infection rate and severe multiple infection. The subtypes of HR-HPV are mainly 52, 53, 16 and 58. |
