Objective To explore the promoting effect of family video feedback intervention combined with traditional Chinese medicine massage on neuromotor development in high risk premature infants. Methods A retrospective study was conducted on 100 high-risk preterm infants admitted between December 2023 and April 2024, who were divided into Group A and Group B based on different intervention methods applied during the respective time periods. Among them, 50 cases who received traditional Chinese massage and routine family intervention guidance for regular follow-up from January to August 2023 were used as the A group, and 50 cases who received family intervention video feedback management for regular follow-up from September 2023 to April 2024 were used as the B group on the basis of the A group. The differences in electroencephalogram monitoring results and gross motor mass(GMs) scales were compared between two groups, and the physical development, motor function, Gesell Developmental Diagnostic Scale(Gesell) scores, and other aspects of the two groups were quantified before and after intervention for six months. Results The comparison of EEG monitoring results between the two groups showed no statistically significant difference(P>0.05). After six months of intervention, the GMFM-88 score, Alberta Infant Movement Scale(AIMS) score, Fine Motor Ability Assessment Scale(FMFM) score, body mass, head circumference, and Gesell score of the B group were all improved compared to the same group(P<0.05). The GMFM-88 score, AIMS score, FMFM score, Gesell score, body mass, and head circumference of the B group were all higher than those of the A group after six months of intervention, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Meanwhile, the body mass of the B group increased compared to the A group; the head circumference increased more significantly compared to the A group, and the differences in body mass and head circumference between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05). The differences in the above indicators at different time points were also statistically significant(P<0.05). In addition, the normal rate of GMs scale evaluation in the B group was 96.00%, which was higher than the A group's 84.00%, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05); the Gesell score was also higher than that of the A group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Family intervention video feedback management combined with Chinese massage for high-risk infants to better promote neurofunction development and enhance motor function.
