| Objective To discuss the expression of serum C-X-C motif chemokine receptor 7 (CXCR7), leukotriene B4 (LTB4), and leucine rich alpha 2 glycoprotein 1 (LRG1) in patients with hypertension and concurrent coronary heart disease, and their relationship with Gensini score. Methods According to the Gensini score, 126 hypertensive patients with coronary heart disease admitted to Affiliated Hospital of Chengde Medical College from February 2022 to February 2025 (study group) were divided into mild, moderate, and severe coronary artery disease groups, with 45 cases, 39 cases, and 42 cases, respectively. Another 126 patients with simple hypertension were served as the control group. Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay was used to detect serum CXCR7, LTB4, and LRG1 in all subjects. Spearman method was used to explore the correlation between serum CXCR7, LTB4, LRG1 and Gensini score. Multivariate logistic regression was used to explore the influencing factors of the severity of coronary artery disease in patients. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was plotted to explore the efficacy of serum CXCR7, LTB4, and LRG1 in assessing the severity of coronary artery disease in patients. Results The study group had higher triglycerides, total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, serum LTB4, and LRG1 than the control group, and lower serum CXCR7 than the control group (P<0.05). The levels of serum LTB4, LRG1, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and Gensini score increased sequentially in the mild, moderate, and severe coronary artery disease groups, while the level of serum CXCR7 decreased sequentially (P<0.05). Serum CXCR7, LTB4, and LRG1 were influencing factors for the severity of coronary artery disease in patients (P<0.05). Spearman analysis showed that Gensini score was negatively correlated with serum CXCR7 levels (rs=-0.526, P<0.05)and positively correlated with serum LTB4 and LRG1 levels (rs=0.535, 0.513, P<0.05). The combination of serum CXCR7, LTB4, and LRG1 had a higher area under the curve (AUC) in evaluating the severity of coronary artery disease in these patients than the individual evaluation of CXCR7, LTB4, and LRG1 (Z=4.422, 3.646, 3.887, P<0.05). Conclusion CXCR7, LTB4, and LRG1 are abnormally expressed in the serum of patients with hypertension and coronary heart disease, and they are related to Gensini score. They can serve as biological indicators for clinical assessment of the severity of coronary artery disease in patients. |
